Cornflower Blue Applique Flower Dress

The Cornflower dress is sheer pale blue mesh scattered all over with big appliqued blooms, each made of separate organza petals in cornflower, ice blue and soft cream, with a little cluster of iridescent sequins at the centre. The petal edges are left raw and frayed on purpose, so they catch the light and lift away from the fabric as she moves.

It falls straight from the shoulders in an easy A line, sleeveless with a plain round neck, and finishes in a deep ruffled hem that kicks out when she spins. There is a soft opaque lining through the body and the ruffle is left sheer, which is what gives it that floating edge.
