This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit kforkaia.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we keep the data we collect short.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, and your payment details, which go straight to our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal and Klarna) and are never stored by us. When you browse the site we collect device information such as your browser, IP address, time zone, the pages and products you view and how you arrived at the site, using cookies and similar tools. If you sign up to our emails we keep your email address and your preferences.
How we use it
To fulfil and deliver your order, take payment and send you order updates. To answer your questions and handle returns. To screen orders for fraud. To send you emails about new collections and offers, only if you have signed up, and you can unsubscribe from any email at any time. To understand how the site is used and make it better. To show you advertising we think you will find relevant.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the services that help us run the store: Shopify, which hosts the site and processes payments; Klaviyo, which sends our emails; our couriers, who need your delivery details; Google Analytics, which tells us how the site is used; and Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which show our advertising. Each of them handles your information under their own privacy policy. We never sell your personal information. We may also share information where the law requires it.
Advertising choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, manage Google advertising at https://www.google.com/settings/ads and Facebook and Instagram advertising at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads, and opt out of many advertising partners at once at http://optout.aboutads.info. If you live in a US state with a right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page. Our cookie banner lets you switch off marketing and analytics cookies wherever the law requires consent.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. If you are in the UK or EU and are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Where your information goes
We are based in the United Kingdom. Shopify, Klaviyo, Google and Meta process information in the United States and other countries, under contracts that protect it as UK and EU law require.
How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as we need it for our records, tax and any returns, and we keep your email address until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Children
Our dresses are for little girls, but our customers are adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version here with a new date.
