Snowdrop Ivory Puff Sleeve Party Dress
The dress for the softest days. The Snowdrop is a cloud of ivory tulle with big puffed sleeves and a little embroidered yoke, the kind of dress that makes a christening, a spring wedding or a birthday tea feel like a picture from a storybook.
The sleeves are what you notice first. Each one is a full balloon of sheer tulle gathered into a soft narrow cuff, so they float when she moves and never feel tight. Above them sits a shallow yoke of fine mesh embroidered all over with tiny white sprigs of leaves and flowers, finished at the neck with a fine corded edge and a single little button at the back. The skirt gathers thickly onto a high seam and falls in layers of soft tulle over a cream lining, full enough to twirl and never see through. No zip, no fuss, just a button.

The pictures do not do this dress justice. The butterflies are actual stitched fabric, not printed, and they stand off the skirt so they move when she does. We used it for her second birthday photoshoot and the photographer asked for the brand. Satin lining, hidden zipper, it feels expensive in your hands.
She chose this one herself and has not stopped talking about it. Every little girl at the party wanted to touch the star sequins. The ruffle collar sits nicely and the tulle is soft underneath, I checked, because we've had scratchy ones before. Machine washed after the party and it's still perfect.
Sizing is exactly right. My daughter is 3 and a half and on the tall side, I went with the 4 like the site suggests and it's perfect with a little room. The shirred top stretches so she can get it on and off herself, which she is very proud of. The dots are soft and flat, not the scratchy flocked kind. Already in the wash twice and still perfect.
Sequin dresses are usually a hard no for me because of the scratch factor but this one is lined so the sequins never touch her skin. The pink tiered hem under the blue is such a pretty combination. She wore it to a wedding reception and danced for hours.
Emailed on a Sunday night about sizing for a tall 3 year old and had a real, helpful answer first thing Monday morning from an actual person, not a bot. Went with the 4 as advised and it's perfect. The dress itself is a dream, satin bodice, butterflies that actually stand up off the tulle, hidden zipper. Birthday girl was thrilled.
